Dream It. Believe It. Plan It. Achieve It.

Girls with Goals is a dynamic mentorship program presented by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. – Aurora Illinois Metropolitan Chapter Education Committee. The program is designed to empower middle school girls in grades 6–8 by providing the knowledge, confidence, mentorship, and support they need to thrive academically, personally, and socially while preparing for their future.

Through engaging monthly sessions, participants will have opportunities to explore goal setting and personal growth, college and career preparation, STEAM and career exploration, financial literacy, self-care and personal grooming, leadership, community impact, and sisterhood.

The 2026–2027 program runs from October 2026 through May 2027, with no meetings during June through August. Sessions are held one Saturday each month from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM at Cowherd Middle School in Aurora, Illinois.

Girls with Goals welcomes girls in grades 6–8 regardless of the school they attend. Each session is designed to create an encouraging environment where participants can build confidence, discover new possibilities, develop meaningful goals, and connect with mentors and peers who support their growth.

Invest in her today. Change her tomorrow.

Because when girls are given the tools, encouragement, and opportunity to envision their future, they can turn their goals into action and make their mark.
